Prosper Junior School – Kyengera started in June 2019 as a private educational institution offering Daycare, Kindergarten, and Primary sections. The school enrolls children from Daycare to Primary Seven and is founded on the belief that every child deserves access to quality, affordable, and holistic education.

Located just 7 miles (Kyengera) along Kampala–Masaka Road in Wakiso District, Uganda, Prosper Junior School is a multi-cultural embracing school set in a pleasant, easily accessible, and conducive learning environment.

Despite the temporary closure caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, which affected schools nationwide, Prosper Junior School reopened in January 2022 with renewed commitment to providing a nurturing and inspiring environment where learners can thrive.

We warmly welcome all children irrespective of need, race, religion, or nationality. The school works closely with various stakeholders in the community to ensure that the educational, social, and emotional needs of every learner are met.

At Prosper Junior School, we believe that education should be holistic — focusing not only on academics but also on character, social skills, and moral development. Our goal is to produce children who are God-fearing, innovative, disciplined, confident, and academically sound.

School Curriculum

The school offers both an enriched early childhood Education package and Primary School Uganda National Curriculum blended with contemporary teaching methods and co-curricular studies.

Admission Requirements for New Entrants

Free Interview: Every child undergoes a free and friendly interview to determine their academic placement.
Report Card: Bring a report card from the child’s former school or class.
Registration Fee: Admission and registration cost UGX 30,000.
Passport Photos: Two passport-size photos of the child and two of the parent or guardian.
